Phonix
theres always Christmas!, send a few webpages to your family members, they might get the hint.. Don't get presents off many now - stops at 18 in my family and the ones I do get presents off I need practical stuff like text books and printer ink etc As for sending it to them lol then i'd def never get it lol - not the most technological family! My mum has to keep setting up new email addresses as she doesn't access them often enough It'll just have to be another one of those things to go on my list of things I want when i get a real job me thinks - its getting pretty big now!! Lesley
The Australian site was interesting - I used a currency converter to check the prices, it said 10 Aus $ = £4.44 so the prices were really good!

MedusA
Lin, what else have you bought from looking at another thread? I know the Roomba is on my wish list now after reading all the rave reviews on here about it. Edited to add I'm nosey What haven't I bought? Apart from the Trollbead bracelet and something from Interfauna this week: Egg Skelter, Beware of the Chickens sign, second eglu, more chickens! I'm sure there's more that I just can't recall at the moment. In my defence, I haven't succumbed to Crocs yet (though I'm wavering), or a steam cleaner and I have another brand of robovac, so won't be getting a Roomba. jomaxsmith
I went out today and bought my Christmas trollbeads! I bought a chain, plain lock, an 'A' for ds2 (they didn't have a 'T' for ds1) and a chicken to represent me (which works on many levels ). I need to order my T and plan to get dh to choose something to represent himself! I then plan to get some pretty glass beads from eBay to pretty it up, with the intention of replacing them gradually with the real thing. Show me that bandwagon and I'll be a-jumping.... Cooks
I haven't bought any from the me me me site, I just used that as a picture to show which bead I'd bought. I have found some good bargains but that is not an excuse to spend and I am thoroughly ashamed ;)
abwsco
If anyone does spot the Guardian Angel charm on ebay I'd love a "heads up" on it. I'm going to work out how much I've saved on my ebay purchases so far then post back.

abwsco
Lesley, I know what you mean! I've just worked out that I've saved just under £50 on four charms and that includes me paying insurance as well. OMG, I've saved £140 on the 7 other charms and big flower lock I've still got 3 bids going as well. Is it OK to post the ebay sellers or not as Lynsey found one and I found another, both based in the Netherlands. Added to.
jomaxsmith
both based in the Netherlands. Will you have to pay customs on that? I ordered some cosmetics from Hong Kong recently and the Royal Mail charged me £12 in excise and 'handling fees' to release it to me - thereby completely wiping out the savings I'd made! I'm a bit wary of ordering anything from overseas now! Jo

I recently got charged £14 in excise and £8 "handling charge" on some skincare from the USA but it still worked out £30 cheaper than buying here. Don't mind the duty too much but the handling charge is a joke. Plus, you only get charged duty on what you've paid I think.
Cooks
I dare not look for the guardian angel for you I might buy more edited to add I've saved £72.75 on my purchases so far... and I only bought a few charms and a lock
