laurmurf
Hi all, is anyone on here living near Staithes? My OH is an aerial archaeologist and he spotted a cube on his photos and had to send it to me. I'm not the only nosey one! It's in Hinderwell, between Staithes and Runswick Bay, North Yorks. Old Speckled Hen
Does anyone remember an omleteer posting a picture of their cube run cover artwork ? Huge multi-coloured chickens. The question was whether you could see it on google earth

ubereglu
Cool! Not me I'm afraid, but Staithes is lovely, apart from the big hill to get to the car park!

Wow, does he use planes/sattelites/helicopters. Sounds like a fun job! all of the above plus hot air balloons! Actually, it's mostly planes although he does get the helicopter occasionally and he loves those days! If any of you have either long memories or the history channel he does appear in a BBC2 programme called 'Time Flyers' from a few years back. I tried to encourage him to fly about in his kilt, but he was rather afraid of the effect the rotor blade might have - since the programme was going out pre-watershed
