i have just ordered a with no run which should arrive on friday and

i have just recieved an email saying that i am picking up 10 and 4 [cream legbar] on saturday

blimey, that's a lot of girls for one eglu!!! mind you, if they all squeeze in to sleep it will be lovely and cosey... I guess they're not all going in the one, are they?!!

I think 14 girls might be too many. We have one Eglu and the 4 girls seem very happy. I would not go much more than 4 as they will be sleeping in the nest box and some may be on top of each other.

 

It is great to get chickens and we would like more but you have to think of the space you have and there welfare. Our girls also free range all day every day. Have you thought of the Cube?

this made me smile..i can just picture stacked chickens...in an eglu...i dont think you could even squeeze 14 in one ?? dont lets try though LOL

we are'nt keeping them all in one eglu the 10 isa browns are livng in a

my 3 hens that i have got now are living in a [no run]

and the 4 legbars are living in the [with run
