following the request for what to do with 3 bottles of whisky, a few of you expressed an interest in this Homemade Baileys recipe, so I thought I would share it with everyone

 

3 eggs

1 large can condensed milk

1/2 pint whipping cream

1/4 pint whisky

2 tsp coffee in 2 tsp cold water

 

whip eggs.

add condensed milk. whip

add cream. whip

add dissolved coffee. whip

add whisky to taste

 

makes 1 litre.

keeps for 6-8 weeks in the fridge

Thanks for this Sara (again!), I will have to keep the bottles in the fridge & put a voucher in the hampers for redeeming at a later date - but not too much later in case it all disappears

I made a coffee liqueur last year, with vodka as a base.

 

It keeps - still going well this year - and I just add cream if I want it like Baileys. It's nice on its own over ice though.
