Guest Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 do you think this will work... bit of an experiment as couldn't find a recipe on the net 2 tins of peach halves 8oz caster sugar 1 litre vodka mashed the peaches with a potato masher, added the sugar and vodka, store in cool, dark place for a month- shake every day for the first week. strain and bottle. All my vodkas have been FAB - and I don't even normally drink vodka! The raspberry one is divine, the blackberry one tastes like Ribena but blows your head off and the Christmas one that Cinnamon posted the recipe for is absolutely lovely. I have to mix them with lemonade and only a very little but really really nice. I made apricot brandy too but wasn't that impressed with that. The sloe gin has got another few months yet, well, about 10 really, not that I'm impatient, good thing is the bottle sealed when I made it so I can't keep dip-checking it! I love this forum!
