ubereglu
Probably a result of my thread talking about wellies! I still haven't found a pair yet...

AnnieP
oh dear, I don't like Huntress welliesat all. I wouldn't be without my Hunters, but one year, I was bought the "girl version" by mistake: They do not come as high up the leg and the tops are much wider than the man's version, so they flap everywhere on me and let the rain in! If you are taller, its worth trying both, so you get the right style for you.
miffy
I have the problem that I am too short (5ft 1in) for my weight (censored) so the only thing that flaps around me is a tent . Huntress wellies were obviously designed with me in mind . On a serious note this just proves the need to try many different wellies to find the right ones for yourself. ubereglu
Well I really like the joules wellies, but still haven't found a size 7 to try yet...the size 8s were too big, so next time we go to Glastonbury I'll pop into Lookatmycrazyshoes to try on a pair. With any luck it will be before Christmas and then I can have them as a pressie!
chickenanne
I love my red wellies.... had them years, and they've had several repairs: a puncture repair kit (for bicycles) works wonders....!
miffy
I wish I'd thought of that... I love my new wellies
chickenanne
Miffy, sadly the repairs only work on favourite comfy red wellies. It won't work on green/black/other non-favourite ones. It's got to do with rubberised-proton-neutron-sub-quark bonds. Really, it doesn't work on wellies that you don't love.
