Old Speckled Hen
SPRUNG! Now my OH is a reasonably bright bloke but what he then said had me in stitches... Counting on his fingers he said: "two of them are clucking at each other and two are watching but the two that are clucking at each other are the same hen" That is sooooooo funny I can just see him Imagining the scenario has brightened my day

Egluntyne
How comical. If they'd kept moving he'd never have known.
tara
When l was a child l had hamsters in my bedroom. Me and my mum had rabbits and ginipigs in the shed in the garden my dad could not tell the difference between a hamster and a ginipig When my dad came out away from the tv which was a sight l can tell you as it almost never happened. He asked what was in the hutch we told him it was a hamster that had become to big for a cage so its living in a hutch now he fell for it. As the bowls every night got more and more he never questioned it.The funny thing is when l brought some ginipigs a few years ago l did not tell my hubby but he found them straight away.He may not know there names but he's very much with it as far as animals are concerned as he knows what im like.Oh l do like to keep them on there toes. Yorkshire Pudding
I threatened to try this on OH when he originally said 'no more chickens'. His reply was not printable on a family forum! Well done Mr Redwing!
KAZAROO
I am not going to tell my OH about her This is an experiment in to the average chap's ability to notice things under his nose. I reckon it will be a good couple of days before he clocks on I did this in hope with my second dog- I am now looking to get a 3rd dog; whats 3 when you have two- I give it 3 days for him to notice
