Can I just say how chuffed I am, I got my first egg in 3 weeks today How sad am I getting so excited lol. Not sure who laid it, but if the other 7 would just start laying now I'd be a happy bunny (and I'm desperate to see what sort of egg my little silkie x lays )

I know it was one of my new girls, as they haven't been moulting, but who My 4 'oldies' better get their fingers out or they'll be getting a showing up lol. Oh the good old days when I got 3 a day

We had the first egg eating ceremony, 5 adults shared one fried egg........... We all got dressed up , then again we quite sad, pics are on my collietalk spaces thing, that used to all about my dogs, now its chooks, chooks and more chooks........

we're very sad aren't we My OH kept going out to the coop every day and telling the girls they better get laying again, and of course it was me who discovered the egg this morning But good wife that I am, I didn't eat it, and left it for him, so he's just now had a nice fried egg sandwich!

When I got my first egg from Korma I ran up the garden shouting " I'm a Grandma!!!" which was a bit embarrasing for my 25 year old stepson who had a friend round !!!
