HI.

I was offered some good advice recently about Matilda , who seems to have some discomfort in her legs. I was advised to up her calcium levels and give her arnica. I'm giving her limestone flour and she now has some arnica. She is taking the tablets disguised into a piece of mushrooms. I just wanted to check.... the little tablets Im giving her are 30c. I guess if thats the human dosage it might be too much for her . Or is it impossible to overdose on homeopathic stuff?

By no means an expert, but I gave mine the 30c pillules 3 times a day for a few days. One, three times a day that is.

gosh. 3 a day for a small, wee little chicken? I'm amazed. I was worried she was going to overdose on 1 a day.

My vet explained that for uncertain dosages of medicines for chooks, you use the cat dose then up it as they have such fast metabolisms it is used up quiicker.
