Egluntyne Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 The recommended useage is 50g ( a handful) per sqm, so if you work out your run sixe and how often youthink you will use it, you can guesstimate how big a box you need. I have a 25kg box which I have had for around 9 months, and it has around a quarter left. Postage costs are massive, so if you can source some locally, it might save you a considerable amount. I have the same number of chickens as you so I reckon that size would do you for quite a long time. I only use it every 6 weeks or so but sprinkle it liberally all over the run area. I just re-read that and thought, 'hang on, why on earth did I put a chicken in the middle of that?
