Guest
DH and SIL are going to 'Most Haunted' tonight at St George's Hall in Liverpool. I didn't want to go as it's not my thing really and they can have some brother and sister time together anyway We don't have 'Living TV' so I hope I can watch it on the net, to see if I can spot them in the audience They were supposed to go back in October (for Halloween) but personal circumstances prevented it. Anyone else going to be watching?

missuscluck
Has Ian got a silly hat he can wear! Hope he has a spookytastic time. I havent got living tv either so wont be 'Ian spotting' tonight.
craftyhunnypie
Hope they have lots of fun. My sister used to work for Yvette Fielding - & from what we now know. We don't watch anymore. We have even been her house & stayed over in her 16th century house (about a mile away) & no ghosties came out then. Hubby even went down the priest hole! We saw all the props! Its good for getting your mind going & pulse rating though - even though it isn't true! Emma.x
tiggerlady
Sorry to be a party pooper but I cant stand the programme! I think it gives a totally wrong perception to a lot of susceptible people...my children used to watch when they were smaller and asked me if my friend (who is a medium) got possessed on a regular basis and thrown down stairs etc!! Its ok if you think of it only as entertainment..but as I said..its not good to take it seriously..
craftyhunnypie
Well it's all fake anyway what her & her husband do & that is coming from a believer of ghosts. Emma.x
Guest
I think we're quite open minded about what might be out there. Neither of us think the show is for real and we don't fall for all the blarney. We (well Ian more than me to be honest) just find it entertaining. St George's Hall is a magnificient building, I was last there for the reading of 'The Liverpool Saga' (of which I was verse 3 ) and it's a stunning bit of architecture. The Empire theatre is directly opposite and I've been there many a time too, the seats are really uncomfortable I've just got back from mum's (I don't have Living TV but she does) we got bored trying to spot them and she's gone to bed and I've come home. I think I did see him right at the back, far left but the camera moves so fast it's impossible to tell. He phoned me to say they're in seats 499 and 500 so that must be right at the back. They had to get there by 5pm at the latest and won't be coming home til gone midnight! That's why I decided to give it a miss Has Ian got a silly hat he can wear! Hope he has a spookytastic time. I havent got living tv either so wont be 'Ian spotting' tonight. the blurb said you weren't allowed to wear a hat or anything with a logo on etc. He's got bright orange trainers on though
chelsea
Well I believe! I watched it till about 11.15pm last night (didnt spot Ian Poet!), and I actually thought that footage of the cctv camera moving with the breathing noises/odd noises was quite interesting... and scary! A few odd things have happened to me at home since my nan passed away last year so I definitely believe there is "something out there"......what I dont know. Guest
Ian didn't get to sit in the audience until 10.30pm They got there at 5pm, as instructed, but loads of people had been q'ing all day. Ian and his sister were number 499 and 500 to get in. They invite far more people than they can actually fit in and then when anyone vacates their seat, they grab someone else to replace them. He said there was loads of standing and waiting around and it seemed very chaotic but they enjoyed it and got quite near the front when their turn came. By this time, I was at home so wasn't watching Ian said there were some very strange characters in the audience and they had loads of fun '(strange) people spotting' If you go, be prepared for a lot of standing around, q'ing and waiting! I'm realy glad I didn't go now!!!
tiggerlady
Oh I am certain there is something there from our loved ones and am very open minded about aliens and other paranormal stuff..I just am not keen on the way spirit is portrayed as always 'evil' and oppressive.I know it can be so..wherever there is light there will always be dark, its just that there never seems to be any 'good'but I suppose that wouldnt make good telly would it?
