They never shut up. It's not a problem but we have them in the conservatory with the heat lamp suspended from the supports (good job it was hubby's idea). They just about drop off to sleep then one will wake up, run across the other girls' heads and wake them up. Then the whole chirpy feeding frenzy starts again.

:lol: Last Easter, my friend J had abotu two dozen quail chicks in a brooder in her study - such cute little balls of fluff, but noisy, hyperactive little blighters. Phil.. the chicken whisperer... had one in his hand, he turned it on its back and stroked its tummy - the little thing went to sleep!
