How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Complete novice here. My chickens aren't POL yet so they're appetites aren't that great. Should I be giving them fresh pellets every morning or, in the case of someone filling the grub up too much, can I leave out the pellets for several days until they're all eaten?

I leave mine until they have eaten most of it then refill, its about 2-3 days between fills for four chickens

me too! If they get wet I get rid as mine won't eat them and I think they can go a bit rancid

They wont eat so much whilst they are not laying. Once in lay its another matter entirely!

 

I dont fill the grub up. Everything that is left on clean out day (saturday) is discarded and fresh put in, then midweek (tue/wed) I top up the grub.

Did post a reply but not quite sure if I sent it ! But I leave mine until they've eaten most of it and then refill as required . When it starts to look dusty ( usually after a week, 10 days ) I empty the grub pot completely, and start again.

I top up pellets as and when needed and they usually last a few days. However I don't throw out the older pellets. Once a week I empty the old pellets into their treat bowl, add a mug of warm water and make a slushy "porridge" and they fall on it like ganets....... Good way of mixing in any powder suppliments too like poultry spice.
