If anyone had told me two years ago that I would be growing my own veg on an alloment I would have laughed at them! However, after getting our chickens and becoming a forum member (although I don't get time to come on here as often as I like), I have taken a share of my father in law's allotment and I'm really excited! He has a really big plot so said that I can have as much as I like. So I've been up there and turned over my patch and planted some raspberry plants. I'm also planning to put in some strawberry plants soon. Can't believe I enjoy it so much but it's just so nice to go up there and have time to myself in the peace and quiet! I've just got to plan what else to grow later in the year.

I have only had my name down since December, so gawd knows when I'll get one!
