He is very quiet and isnt his normal self, it could be the snow and cold he doesnt like but he is doing white/yellow watery poo. Any ideas? Egluntyne Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 I would worm him....and the hens if they were mine, and restrict food oter than pellets and water for a few days. If you can get hold of some bokashi bran and added it to the pellets, it might help settle the poos. If they persist, I'd take him to the vet. shelley8179 Posted February 6, 2009 Author Share Posted February 6, 2009 I think he has sour crop!! His crop is soft and squigy and when i massage it he sort of burps and it smells very bad. My husband empted his crop last night by turning him upside down and massaging his crop. It didn't seem to make much differance, but he did it again this morning. He is just sat down very still with his head low. He is taking water through a syringe but is not interested in food we have tried giving him natural live youghurt but again not interested! Im very upset as I hatched him he was the only one out of 6 eggs to hatch.
