abwsco
and I can't get an appointment at the vets until tomorrow morning She'd got a bit of a swollen eye yesterday which we bathed with cold tea. It looked like it had gone down when she came out this morning. Just been to see them and it's more swollen and her wattles are as well. Does it sound like Myco to you? Typical as I've been at work today as well so haven't been able to keep an eye on her
chelsea
you never know with eyes really. We've had a couple of eye problems here with different chooks and we were given Baytril to clear up what was an infection. Im not sure about Myco, I thought symptoms were foamy eyes/gooey eyes. abwsco
Thanks Chelsea. Must admit to getting confused I've also seen that swollen wattles can be fowl cholera Joys of surfing the web! Not sure if we should keep her in the house with us tonight

abwsco
Thanks for asking and sorry I haven't done an update I ended up cancelling the vets as her eye and wattles weren't swollen in the morning. We had her in the house with us for a short time on Saturday and I bathed her eyes with cold tea, gave her pellet porridge and cuddles and touch wood she's back to normal. She was a bit "off" on Saturday and Sunday but now seems to be back to normal. Hubby thinks that perhaps she had a cold and just felt rough like we can.
