Guest
When u ring them ask to speak to someone else. Also take the name of who you are speaking to initially and what they say to you, and keep a log. Sounds a bit officious I know but this is just terrible customer services. You may have just got someone not very helpful or having a bad day!!! If you are still not satisfied ask for a refund, buying a product at such a high price is not taken lightly by any of us and you want whats best for your chickens too. Its not fit for its intended purpose and is obviously damaged goods. You will have unhappy chooks. Ask for your money back and start again. I am really surprised all of these are not being read by Omlet! Where are you Barbara, James etc or the moderators! What are you going to do about this? I work in sales and I can tell you to be successful you treat people how you would like to be treated! Not pathetic sorry Keep us updated and I really hope your hubbie can sort it out & Omlet... Good luck indie999

binka
It was James I spoke to. Though think I've read before there are 2 James. Will that email be the other one?
Cooks
the email I just gave you is one of the directors.
abwsco
That is appalling CS I'm saving up for a cube even though hubby doesn't want one as he likes our shed. If he sees this thread and the other ones about leaking cubes and the Nightfreight service there is NO WAY he will have one in the garden. Do Omlet think that because they have no competition they can get away with things like this. It really does beggar belief
Cooks
I personally think this is apalling and really feel for you!, I wouldn't accept it and dont think you should, they are not cheap, they are not seconds, so therefore you shouldn't have received a scuffed item and one that has gaps all over. Omlet should come out and put it right for you.. thats the least they can do.
Falkor
You have me worried now. my is coming this week and I REALLY don`t want it to be broken/marked or leak. I agree with all responses. If the Cube is not AS NEW on the day you open the box then Omlet should repalce it! I will be straight on the phone if there is anything wrong with mine! Cooks
I would be worried too and to be hoenst if I had HAD to have night freight and no omlet installer, I wouldn't have ordered.. simple as that.
abwsco
Binka, just wondered if you'd contacted them again and had an update.
Mrs Frugal
Where are you Barbara, James etc or the moderators! What are you going to do about this? Can I just say that none of the moderators work for Omlet so unfortunately there is absolutely nothing that any of us can do to help - we are all just customers like you who have volunteered to help out with the running of the forum. When there is a problem with an Omlet product, the only thing to do is to contact Omlet directly either by telephone on 0845 4502056 or by email to james@omlet.co.uk or johannes@omlet.co.uk The Omlet team don't read the forum as regularly as their customers do so won't be aware of problems unless they are actually brought to their attention at Omlet HQ instead of on the forum so get in touch and let them know what is wrong and if you're unhappy with what you're told, tell them . chickweed
How can a product be described as "draught free" if it has so many gaps after being assembled. My eighteen month old eglu looks in better condition. I hope you get a satisfactory outcome to your complaint.
binka
Hi, I've adjusted the cube this morning and it does look a lot better now, still not 100% I don't think, maybe 98%. I don't seem to be able to get the sides in and down enough. But a big improvement on before. So I'm going to see if it rains tonght and how water tight it is now (it was leaking a couple of days ago). Once I know I'm happy with the waterproffness of the cube then I'll forward the link to this thread onto James and see what happens. Thanks for all the advice.
