Hi All

 

Well the farm hand came to fix our fence today and i mentioned our lonely ex batt Geraldine and he has some hens who belonged to the lady who owned the farm who died about a month ago. He has 6 hens and a cockrel but i have only agreed to take two hens as i only have a small eglu at the minute. I have no clue what they are like what breeds or how old but they need a home and i have one and the farm hand says they lay so fingers crossed.

 

I am so excited will post some piccies tommorrow. I dont know what time he is coming with them. I am going to see if the lady had a coop and a run cause if she did and they will lend it to me i will take them all even the cockrel.

Eventually and i regretted not going earlier when my two year old twins were bouncing on me at 5.30am.

 

Can't wait for the hens to come, feel nervous about the introductions but really excited. OH was getting his hair off with me he was trying to sleep and i just couldn't. I cant understand why he is not excited .
