riane Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Hubby has just spoilt me (surprise bday pressie) . We have had a few days away with no kids!! We went to London and stayed in a lovely hotel near Big Ben, we had dinner at Foxtrot Oscar - Gordon Ramsey's new bistro. It was absolutely divine. I kept trying to be objective when I tasted the food ...but it was beautiful. Good qualty ingredients cooked with skill. Any way then we had a lazy morning with breakfast in bed...and then a walk around the tourist bits, visited the Byzantine exhibition. We just popped into Starbucks for a coffee and Matthew, my son , who is at Uni arrived as a surprise. That was really lovely. It turned out he was in London by coincidence so called by! Just when I thought I had had it all we went to see Mammamia. I sang and danced my socks off.... What a wonderful time and I feel like I have been away for a week not 48 hours. I saw your message too late re the film so still haven't seen it No not really. he hasn't had any big well known roles, although when we were on holiday last year some teen girls came up and asked for his autograph. He is quite shy about all that sort of thing. Most of the people at Uni dont know anything about his "other life". They just assume he's bunking off when he dosn't turn up for lectures!
