Single hen

this morning, i was awoken by my girls "singing" in the coop, so bright and early i get up and let them out. only to find that the "singing" or clucking is not coming from mine!!!

 

one of my neighbours must have chickens - but i cant find where (we live in a small village) and the nearest chickens i know about are down the road quite a bit. i thought i knew everyone round here.

 

i'm off to try and find a new friend in common! and share tips.
