Single hen

I am looking for 1-3 meters of poultry netting, I have posted in the 'I've got a good home' section but if that doesn't bring up anything I was just wondering whether anybody knows anywhere I can buy it by the meter???

I had seen some on the Wickes website (might not have been official Poultry netting, but was netting). We hadn't looked that hard at it, but think would be suitable. Having said that, can't see it there now, but maybe they will have it in the stores??

 

Failing that, most local hardware stores will sell things like netting by the metre. That's where we got our chicken wire from to cover the Eglu run to stop the rodents getting in. Small local hardware shop = much beter service normally!!

I can do you some Omlet netting (I only get myself in to a state with it all anyway ) but have no spare poles I am afraid - will that do? you can use canes or tree states or something or homebase sell netting poles but they are about £6 each

Spare omlet poles are available from the shop . I'm about to order some myself. You can find them by putting "pole" into the search.

 

Edited to say I have just tried to search the shop and failed to find the spare poles though they were definitely there last week . Might have to give omlet a ring.

I have seen a 1m length being sold to be used as a "gate" (not quite sure how it makes a gate) on various websites.

I will untangle the blooming stuff and see how much I actually have (I got it second hand and have never unravelled it completely so don't know!) and will let you know what I can spare
