ursula
I've just received delivery of a purple eglu cube. I've just ordered another one! Has anyone tried to connect two cubes ( one at each end both connected to the same run) with either some kind of door in the middle or leaving off one of the end wire under the cube itself? Would be grateful for any tips/advice/help. Thanks
The Dogmother
I don't see why it couldn't be possible, but so far as I know, no-one on the forum has atempted it yet. Good luck

Redwing
You should be able to cut a hole in one of the sides and patch in one of the end panels with the door in (especially useful if its the new larger door) you can use the run clips to secure it all together Its easy to cut through the run mesh with a pair of very strong pliers Good luck with it! ChickenGeorge2
Just connected 2 Green cubes together this weekend with 4 * one mtr run extensions between. Hinged one run side with run clips to act as easy access door and cut out out small door for birds to use. Have fitted auto pop hole opener over small door so now the girls let themselves out to free range in the morning and once they go to bed the door closes. Much easier now. Will try to get some photos on in the next few days.

The Dogmother
That looks good George, do you have a close-up of the door arrangement?
ChickenGeorge2
Let me know if this is Ok if not I will try again. The side run panel hinges easily and I strenghthened it with green metal garden canes it is held shut with short bungees. The auto pop hole is mounted on treated MDF and is controlled with a timer. The timer had to be mounted in a sealed kitchen container as the manufacturer does not guarantee that it is waterproof.
The Dogmother
That's great thanks George - fantastic set-up and very cleverly built too. I hope that isn't one of Christian's lock & Locks that you've sealed the mechanism in!
