Thanks Kate, the plate was a gift from my mum apparently she has 'something else' for me which I have worked out its chicken related I just don't know what it is yet - watch this space

I went a bit mad on holiday and bought some lovely framed pictures for our kitchen for when it gets decorated (eventually), a chicken purse, and little wooden plaque saying 'welcome to our coop' and an ink stamp.....my camera has also packed up, so now pictures until it gets sorted

Look what I found yesterday at the Christmas Fair! Just as we were leaving I spotted it and went to look - the lady offered it to me for £3.00

 

Just need the ladies to get their act together and lay some eggs now! One a day from 6 chickens is just not good enough!

I'll keep looking. I did buy something painted in the same style, for holding kitchen utensils, from the Farm shop a couple of years ago - perhaps it is the same person? I shall have to ask around.
