jlo
OK, I have my pen and paper at the ready ....Where is this cookery course? How much is it? Who do I contact? Might be a wee bit too far for you Snowy
Christian
Glad he is doing so well jlo That menu sounds delish OH is good at cooking, but I do most of it. When he does cook, it always tastes good (if he remembers not to add too much chilli - he is obsessed with it ). The trouble I have is the state of the kitchen afterwards. Every pot and pan used, surfaces splattered with sauce, sauce on the kettle, toaster, cupboards and floor

I'm not complaining as I just stay away from the kitchen and it all disappears into the dishwasher (next morning usually!) - all I have to do is wipe the worktops! I'm glad it is all going so well. Snowy
Well I can definitely announce a result! The Omlet effect strikes again! I read this thread to OH, who announced that actually, he wouldn't mind doing a cookery course!!! And seeing as the first thing he does on his days off is take over the kitchen, I am going to give in gracefully and let him do one! The best bit is this - I've found a farm that does Saturday workshops, using their own free range organic produce, in the next village!! How much better does it get! Edited to add, this is the place: http://www.bridge67cookeryschool.co.uk/ Doesn't it look great? Look what you've started Jlo! (thanks! )

The place that OH goes is Newlyns Farm Shop I did swither about going for the course as it is not cheap. However, when we are gettting a lovely meal for two at the end of each session, it does not seem to be so bad. All the meat comes from the shop. The Chef did tell OH where the veg was from but OH is still sufficiently numpty in the food department to have forgotten that detail! Hope your OH enjoys the course and that you enjoy the fruits of his labours Snowy
