Have taken delivery of our 'in perfect working order' (!!) eglu from e-bay and purchased all the spares that we thought we needed and are now trying to assemble - can someone please explain how the bolts and washers work? There are 4 plastic threaded stubs on the eglu and I can't work it out !

the library has eglu instructions - that's where I downloaded mine from. The screws and washers attach the run to the top and sides of the front of the eglu - does that make sense?

I have printed out the instructions, and they did look simple enough - there just doesn't appear to be any holes for the bolts to go into! I'm really sorry if I'm being dim.

Sounds to me as if the plastic threaded stubs you refer to are broken bolts which have been left in the hole.

 

This was a common problem and so Omlet changed the original plastic bolts to metal bolts.

 

You need to figure out a way of removing them before you can insert the new bolts.

 

Naughty of the seller to do this.

Try a pair of pliers and some oil to loosen the bolt Happyhen! Good luck and welcome to the forum
