Griffin
It is with great joy in my heart that I can announce after a day of slavery, shifting absolutely everything out of my garage, that there are no rats in there at all I'd removed a nest two weeks ago but had heard and seen the little blighters somewhere else in the garage behind an old fridge. It's a massive very old American style fridge and to get it out we had to move everything else out first. We realised there was a nest in the cardboard box of kitchenware that was on top of the fridge so my OH carefully lowered it to the floor and our trained assassins, Ella the dog & Ruby the cat quickly despatched the inhabitants. No sign of mum though. We've blocked the hole they were using to get into the garage so she can't get back in, swept the floor so there is no food about whatsoever, I'll leave a bait box down just incase but I hope now that soon I'll be able to move the chicks out of my bedroom and into the garage. Mums obviously outside somewhere because her babies were only about six weeks old. If she can't get back into the garage will she just move on somewhere else?
