Kittycat
Can someone please tell me if these products are used for different purposes or for the same purpose? I'm confused I have Diatom powder already so I don't want to buy additional products if it has the same effect. We have a permanent run on a wood-chipped surface on top of soil. We don't have any problems as yet but I just want the best product for killing of nasties and reducing any smells. Thanks in advance... Diatom has many uses, but Stalosan is tops in those fields.
cordelia
I've both...diatom in eglu, and stalosan sprinkled in run.... can anyone tell me if stalosan is ok sprinkled on grass, as there is one patch the dog insists on pooping on, and I'd like to kill the bugs that may be remaining?? thanks.. fluffyknickers
I have both and sprinkle it both everwhere!
dylan
I have wood chips on soil too. I use stalosan weekly and lime on the soil occasionally. One of my chickens loves the stalosan and as soon as I put it on she runs back into run to dust bathe in it! It doesn't seem to be harming her - doesn't even seem to dye her red as I thought it would ! Gill
