Single hen

[Autumn]

Well, last night I got home and my husband said for me to go and collect the eggs, I thought it was strange as he normally does so as he's home before me, but anyhow, I thought he must have been distracted. So, off I go up the garden and there it was, a beautiful green egg. I ran back down the garden shouting for my husband with the biggest smile on my face! It turns out he knew it was there but wanted me to see it for myself and also to see my reaction!
