Lizzie
Hi For the past week we have had a very poorly chook - to cut a long story short, she has been treated with antibiotics and finally this morning has perked up but she has what seems to be a red rash running down the side of her legs and her feet also seem pinker than the hens that are well. The vet thinks she had picked up something from wild birds that feed in our garden, just waiting for lab result to confirm, particularly waiting to see if contagious to the others. In the meantime, Pen the hen now seems not her self and she too appears to have this red rash. Is this a sign of something ? The scales on their legs seem fine. her feet too are pinker than we have noticed before. We have started a worming treatment this morning, but Pen has gone off her food as Barbara did, mopey and just wants to sit on nest, runny white poo, with green in it. Any ideas anybody ? Any advice would be very much appreciated Regards Liz
