Guest
Check your title - I was wondering why on earth they have a MONKEY supplement!
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Ah. Yes. Wishful thinking. I shall email them immediately and tell them that they really SHOULD have a monkey supplement!
mostin
Interesting article. Obviously for an omleteer it doesn't rave about the joys of just watching your chooks mess about, or cuddling them , but it's an intereting financial report. As they say, all PR is good PR and eglu got a nice mention. But it says according to omlet you need to set aside 6 x 8 metres for 2 hens? Where has this info come from? those are some lucky chooks indeed .
BarbaraJ
maybe they are talking about free ranging area? or area to move eglu around the garden?
Olly
An interesting article - I don't think I've made (or saved) any money from keeping hens, as I give most of my eggs away to friends, but then the pleasure of being able to give them to people is worth a lot! Maybe if I'd stuck to 1 x Eglu and 2 x chickens I'd be in profit. I blame you lot on here, with your talk of extra chickens and Cubes and walk-in runs ... I daren't add up what I've spent in the last two years of chicken-ownership but it would take a lot of eggs to pay it off! Especially when the little blighters are on strike, I only have two out of five laying regularly at the moment. The rest of the article is good, about bees and vegetable-growing. Makes it all sound very easy, though.
