Posted March 24, 2009 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Having not done cross-stitch for years, I'm doing a battlestar galactica one this week because I am that addicted and the series has ended and I'm at a loose end about it and refuse to believe it has ended. It really is brilliant telly and not at all about sci-fi. It's far more of a drama which just happens to be on a spaceship. I'm doing it so it doesn't look like a sci-fi cross-stitch - it looks like a Victorian alphabet sampler. But there are some patterns on it which BSG fans will be able to identify. To the rest of the world, it will just look like a slightly wonky old-school sampler! The shame! THE SHAME! Could I combine two geekier hobbies?!
