Suzeb
Hi everyone, Silly question from a complete novice. Collecting chickens on saturday (can't wait!) Getting eglu but also built large WIR. Don't want to put eglu inside as then will be problematic to clean. Intend that WIR will be used while I am at work. Hens will be in eglu over night. What happens when my girls want to lay while in WIR? Can I put some sort of plastic box in for them to lay in? Does it need to be raised off the ground? Don't want wooden contraption as then rather defeats point of having red- mite free eglu for them to sleep in. Slightly embarrassed not knowing about this but would welcome your comments! Ain't Nobody Here
Can you attach your eglu to your run somehow so they can still get access to it? There are a couple of photos here which may give you inspiration! Can you post some photos of your walk in run - we may be able to give you some ideas . Good luck getting your chickens on Saturday .
