I bought a custom made Chicken house off ebay to house our ex batts who arrive on Sunday 5th April but it hasn't come and the seller is giving me the run around. Have filed a dispute with paypal but more concerningly it means that i will have no where to house my laydees when they arrive

 

Have waited so long for them - everything bought and ready except the house which was due to be delivered on 18th March - and really don't want to miss getting our laydees because of some low life on ebay.

 

Does any have or can anyone suggest anything i can house them in in the short term until things are resolved ?

 

Would be very very grateful - will pay to hire items if thats best just really don't want to have to wait another 2 months to get my chooks

I had a very similar experience with a seller on Ebay. The listing said the ark was in stock, on the shelf and would be dispatched the day after payment. Well a week and a half later no ark, when i got hold of seller was told that the item was not in stock and stuck in customs and could be weeks! The same seller has caused forum members problems in the past.

 

I ended up cancelling the order with Ebay and drove myself to Omlet HQ on chook day to collect a lovely . So glad my ark didn`t turn up!

 

If you let us all know where you are I am sure that there will be someone that could lend a hand!

Thanks so much for the reponse - i am in Birmingham (helpful if i had included that tiny detail to start with )

 

Will continue to harrass the seller and hopefully the house will turn up (fingers and toes crossed) in time

Have you got a local free ads paper you could look in for a cheap rabbit hutch ? or maybe a plea on freecycle would get you one to tide you over ? I'd be tempted to cancel the ebay transaction if pos and try and get another house before the 5th.

Paypal have given the guy until the 4th to respond before they will get involved - haven't the cash to buy one before i get a refund from this one. Would so happily cancel but can't get in touch with the so and so !!

Are you a member of your local free cycle group ? if not , join quick, I'm sure a rabbit hutch would be ok until your coop is sorted out.

Dodge, you got in touch and suggested that you might be collecting my spare eglu tomorrow. I haven't heard any more from you, nor an answer to my PM that you received today, so hope that everything is OK

 

I am pretty busy tomorrow, so it would help to have some sort of notice if you still want to use it. Ta muchly
