Having bought an apple & a cherry tree from Tesco a few weeks ago (£2 each...should have got more ) & discovered, as they went in the ground, that they are not self fertile I may well be at Lidl to purchase one of each to get these two going!

 

My Mum owes us two pear trees too (house name!!), so may have to prod her in the right direction, then get digging holes again !!! Perhaps I should have a couple of plums too to complete the set.........! And a cooking apple maybe.......and an orchard to put them all in !!!

I recently bought a Plum tree for £17..........but it's a bit bigger

 

I might have to pop to our local Lidl on thursday..........I'm after some more fruit trees for the Girls area :D

Homebase have them for £9.99 and they are bigger, the ones at my local Homebase are 4-6ft tall and very healthy looking
