Chook n Boo Mum Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Having bought an apple & a cherry tree from Tesco a few weeks ago (£2 each...should have got more ) & discovered, as they went in the ground, that they are not self fertile I may well be at Lidl to purchase one of each to get these two going! My Mum owes us two pear trees too (house name!!), so may have to prod her in the right direction, then get digging holes again !!! Perhaps I should have a couple of plums too to complete the set.........! And a cooking apple maybe.......and an orchard to put them all in !!!
