Richard T
According to the BBC History magazine for next month (page 39) the 60th anniversary of BBC Radio's Woman's Hour is coming up. It says that early topics covered by the programme included: - how to catch mice; - how to de-slime your flannels; and - how to knit your own stair carpet. If I buy the wool ... ? Mrs Frugal
You just reminded me of the Harry Enfield "Women Know Your Limits" sketch - has me in stitches every time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYJG6QhCpmI
Egluntyne
I think I would rather knit a stair carpet than de-slime flannels. Have you got a copy of the pattern?
Guest
But I've been de-sliming flannels since is was a mere bairn.....

Guest
I bet she has bag-pipes. She picks up the bag-pipes, starts playing and all the mice wander out of her house on their hind legs with their front paws over their ears.
AnnieP
Do you think they get sucked up into the bag part of the pipes? She could then shoot them out with a good puff over into her neighbours garden......

Look - I've only just managed to get Tigger slimmed down enough to regain a very slight indent where his neck should be. Don't go encouraging Louise to airmail any mice, thankyou very much.
