Electricbarbarella
was easier than i thoght it would be actually and now they all have nice clean bum and the whiote girls are glowing. Only problem is I discovered that most of them have fairly bald bums, not blad that you would notice looking at them but quite bald when you get up close. Do you think they could be pecking each other? or is it normal, or could they have had a mini moult? They do look and smell gorgeous now. So not been brave enough to do it!
Electricbarbarella
they didnt seem too bothered, if I had let go they would have run for it but they seemed happy enough and really seemed to enjoy being wrapped up in a towel and cuddled. My daughters really enjoyed helping. bit owrried about the bald bums though.

Redwing
I did mine on Saturday, I used dog flea shampoo just in case they had any crawlies as they seem to be 'rubbing' their feathers on the run sides, I saw the flea shampoo recommended on another forum but I used very little as it is medicated obviously two of mine have hardly any knickers thanks to the other two but the other two also looked a bit bald and I think its because the feathers were wet and it made the area look like it was bald as when they were dry they looked fine They were fine with the water but did not like being dried afterwards! You are right though they look so clean I don't think I would attempt it routinely though, the flapping afterwards soaked me and the kitchen
