Guest
I'm pretty chuffed with meself I dyed the cushions on the conservatory furniture yesterday from cream to brown. Cream wasn't the most practical of colours, especially now Molly's here so it was time for a change. I've never home dyed anything before but they've come out really well There's some pics of my chilli, pepper and strawberry seedlings and a bit of chickenalia too BEFORE... http://www.liverpoolpoet.talktalk.net/060708.8.jpg AFTER... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2415062&l=7fe30ebcb6&id=568396756 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2415063&l=86903391e6&id=568396756 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2415066&l=a07fb93d23&id=568396756 SEEDLINGS... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2415064&l=e9c328c06a&id=568396756 CHICKENALIA... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2415065&l=ee702a342d&id=568396756

Ana's flock
Your doggy is lovely! ...and the cushions look miles better in their new colour anyway I need a total revamp of my sitting room, with all the pets we have the most destructive one is a 7 year old little male homo-sapiens (Perhaps I wait until he gets a bit more 'house-trained' before I invest my time and money on a new sitting room... ) Unfortunately what was going to be my lovely conservatory/study is now the office/homework room/lovebird paradise and occasionally the painting studio... and where I spend most of the time when I'm at home (on the forum!) Guest
thanks I was worried about not getting an even finish so I followed the instructions to the letter and put exactly the same amount of cushion covers in each time and didn't overload the machine etc. It takes flippin' ages though! You have to wash the cushions then put them on another cycle with the dye and the salt then wash them again and there were 2 loads to do. I think it took 6 hours all together just to dye them, not including drying and ironing!
