Cyber Chook
Dare I say it, but I like her too. I know what you mean about her showing us her parents' house, but then again, if you come from a rich background (no, I don't) I don't think there's much point in pretending otherwise or hiding it. Her parents' house was shown as a sort of inspiration, I felt, rather than lording it over us. I was quite interested to see where she grew up. I find her quite warm and funny, and like her spontaneity and lack of airs and graces. To me, she's more natural and herself than Nigella Lawson and that manufactured fairy-light 'home' and her 'beautiful people' friends. This wasn't meant to sound quite so defensive, I'll stop now . It's just my opinion! And I'd like to do a stained glass class as well! I think it's good that she's inspiring people to try creative things. I had an idea for a window-hanging that I'd entirely forgotten til I saw the programme.
