Raina Posted April 25, 2009 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Well, I let the girls free-range today for the first time, I only let them out 10 mins so they didn't get too eggcited lol and guess what they did!!! I took some sweet corn out so they didn't wonder too far and they jumped on my lap for the whole dish They knocked quite a bit out, so there's me, picking up sweetcorn and the girls trying to eat it all I put the dish on the floor for just a few seconds and they just appeared out of know where and started eating it.....(i had to take some pics lol) They are now in the eglu run looking quite pleased with themselves Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
katieadams Posted April 25, 2009 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Ha ha NEVER expect to win that battle, I took corn out to our girls in a plastic bag and while I was putting it in the bowl they sneaked out and pecked a hole in the bag to get at it!!! I step in the border to get round the back o the eglu (this was before our stepping stones)and I get yelled at! The chickens dig a massive hole...' aww, how clever, did you find some nice wormies?'
