Hi All,

 

My girls had their first free range session today, and I thought you'd like to see some pictures of the "big event".

 

It was lovely, Donna followed me around the garden like a dog. Sarah-Jane whilst being top chook in the Cube was a great big scaredy chook outside and didn't venture too far.

What lovely photographs of your girls. How do you manage to get such good shots?

 

Mine don't stand still long enough to get a decent picture even with a 2 sec timer. I'm really rubbish at taking photos.

My OH had the camera on continuous, we took nearly 200 photos and picked the best to upload. You should see all the "reject" photos! Blurry city

 

Yes,the girls don't realise they need to stand still, apart from Donna who'd let us take photos of her all day, we must have had about 20 nice ones of her.

I bet it felt very special letting them free-range around your garden for the first time. How's it all going? Noticed you got them last week - our arrive tomorrow and can't wait!

Hi Sal,

 

It was very special, but also a little scary! Just hoping that they would stay safe, and not try and get over our wall (even though we've clipped their wings).

 

Its all going really well, they have made such an impact on our lives already, although we are still waiting for our 1st egg!!!

 

Enjoy every minute of tomorrow, hope they arrive OK, and don't forget to post some pictures!
