Earthquake

Recommended Posts

An earth tremor has struck the north west of England.

The British Geological Survey confirmed there had been an earthquake of 3.7 magnitude at 1120 BST on Tuesday.

It centred on Ulverston in Cumbria and was felt at Barrow, Kendal, Windermere, and as far south as Blackpool and Lytham St Annes in Lancashire.

I live just outside Kendal.

I had just got out of the shower after a run and was drying my hair.

I heard a very loud boom and the windows shook. It sounded like a large lorry or tractor and trailer had just bounced outside the house.

I looked outside and didn't see anything and forgot about it till I saw the local news in the evening.

Exciting eh???

Epicentre was Ulverston I think
