Brindles chooks
OK, So while my OH is away this weekend I am entertaining myself by going to dance classes, reading about chickens all day, and eating naughty things - many of which are egg-related as I am determined to use lots of eggs to show him we need to get three chooks not two So one of my egg-related items was pancakes - I love them and don't accept that they should be reserved for pancake day. Being a bit bored of lemon and sugar, I had a rumage in the cupboard and found a bag of marshmallows. Cut about six in half and dropped them into the pan on top of (already flipped at this stage) pancake. They had melted and gone all squidgy by the time the underside was cooked, so I folded the pancake up and tucked in. OH MY. SO GOOD. You must all try this. Immediately if not sooner. (just don't tell the boyf I've been stuffing my chops ) Kate P.S. Is there a 'Great Egg Recipes' thread on this site somewhere?

Space Chick
I've been making loads of rich pastry (adding an egg instead of liquid), it makes a fabulous tasty pastry. So far I've made quiches, blackcurrant tart and Rhubarb pie. Yum yum yum (she says whilst avoiding the scales!)
dancing cloud
Those marshmallow pancakes do sound yummy I've just made rum 'n' raisin ice cream and there's still room in the freezer for a batch of vanilla with Cadbury flake - very yummy! (And all that picking up chicken poo must really burn off the calories! )
