How about posting a separate question as I really have NO idea.

PLEASE PLEASE BE PATIENT, :pray: this is a massive operation with a fantastic response, They are not a huge corporation with only 3 people really heading it. Em had something like 400 :o messages in her in box & it will start automatically deleting them at 500. :shock:

Things ARE happening they are going in 3 days next weekend in shifts, Starting before 8am I think the 1st girls arrive back at littlehen about 9 for unloading checking, stretching for the 1st time and they are very hungry & thirsty. Then they get crated up & start the next leg of their journey to being loved & freedom!!!!!! :D

We haVE HAD SOMEONE CANCELL THEIR REQUEST BECAUSE WE HAD NOT EMALED THEM..

The date on LH email? FRIDAY

They got theirs already..

I really hope they rescued some exbats but not sure how at such short notice?

WE WILL BE GOING IN EVERY WEEKEND as long as we have confirmed requests. :!:

Please dont forget the message alert system isn't working and I have to come look for posts!

Incase you are wondering MY feet haven't touched the ground, there is soooooo much to organise!!!

I'm waiting to hear from Swindon to see it they would like me to transport birds to the South West for people in Devon/Cornwall.

 

The main concern is the welfare of the birds and the length of time they will be travelling.

 

I'll have to wait and see what they say.

If anybody in the South West wishes to register for birds, but feel it is too far from them to travel to collect, I will be picking birds up for myself and am more than happy to transport back to Taunton for others.

After having a long chat with hubby, I'm really sorry, and incredibly disappointed but I am going to have to put on hold having any battery hens for a while. I will definitely at some point re-home some but there is just too much happening this month and next month to do it all, and afford it all! I know there is a battery hen rescue in Chumleigh - not far from me, so I will get in touch with them when I am ready to take some girls. Good luck to everybody and I hope you all manage to get your hens.

I sent an email through the little hen rescue's website Sunday night offering to rehome 2-4 chooks :) Just waiting to hear back now :) We've only got a car, but would be able to help with transport if neccessary for anyone, we're in Loughborough :)

Just to keep you all in the loop, there has been a hiccup with the systemie 800 emails stuck and the recipient unable to get at them till WEed eve :wall: and you may well not hear until after Wednesday.

If you know which is your nearest coordinator you MAY be as well to email them direct with all the same info you put on the main request. Just add a note to that effect, t will help the area coordinator to have an idea of numbers!!

Surrey dates. Full 24th available at mo for Bank Hol Monday. End June full.

That doesn't mean we don't need homes, means can't tramsport handle anymore those days!

 

We can help with transport if that's any help? Not sure who i'd need to get in touch with though to offer our services :oops:

oh Chris I thought you HAD heard! well I am guessing that Armada's priority is to get Sat girls rehomed, all our bods have been tied up & we have had radio silence also! I Will see what I can find out, I am sure you were mentioned though! If you ARE TOOOOOOO impatient we had someone booked10 yes 10 pull out on us. gu22 is postcode few minutes from Jnt 3 of M3 and space on Monday also
