4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Yesterday Ginger,my , laid a very curious .

It was golden brown with dark brown speckles on and was very long and pointy. We haven't cracked it yet and it probably won't be anything special inside it, but it's just a bit strange

 

We know that it's common for chickens to lay some weird eggs in their lifetimes, but I just wanted to share it with all you omleteers!!!!!

We haven't cracked it yet so we'll just have to wait and see and update you once we know. Mum thinks it won't be a double yolker though, she says it's too small. But I'll keep my hopes up and crack it just in case!!!

We used to get torpedoes regularly from Maisie . Not had one for a while though .

I cracked the egg earlier this evening and I found that it was only a single yolker. Well, at least it had a bright yellow yolk inside, even if there was only one!!!

 

Something really spooky though- last night, I dreamed that I cracked the egg and it was a double yolker, but what makes it even spookier is the fact that my mum had EXACTLY THE SAME DREAM!!!
