Our new rescued girls

:dance::dance::dance::dance: l will be picking up 4 ex battery hens on saturday from there biggest rescue.So will have 10 hens and 7 ducks.We have been thinking of names and decided that my little boy who in 2 weeks will be 2 would like to call his chicken cheecky mine as this is a word he mostly uses :dance: Those girls are there just waiting :clap: for there new family.

Ex-batts are the best!! I have had my girls a year on saturday and they make us smile everyday. They are so amazing the way they learn 'normal' chicken things so quickly. Make sure they have plenty of water at first as my girls didnt understand they could drink freely at first.

Make sure you post pics of your new girls.

I remember the first time, mine stood on grass, and then caught a worm... and then ran at quite a speed flapping their wings across the garden - you could just read their minds... "Yahooooooooo!!!!!!!" you're right they are amazing. :dance:

Im confused now because debbie comfirmed 4.30 with me on saturday but ive had an email from jo saying l can collect on saturday at 7.30 which l wont be doing :roll: as its an hour drive and my 2 year old needs to go to bed at a proper time.It was comfirmed with

me so im feeling quite cross now.Im going to email debbie and ask whats going on :think:

Well l emailed debbie and showed her the email l got from jo and she said that it must have been sent from the main rescue centre.So l will still be picking them up on saturdau :D:D:D there is no way l could of made 7.30 with 2 young children with an hours drive :evil:

Good luck and one day I will do the good deed too, how rewarding for them and for you..great to hear some more have stumbled on good luck in their lives
