Raina
Hi all, I've noticed in Lady Lays poo that she had red gooey stuff in it (looks a little like the skin from a tomato) but i only ever see it on the days she doesn't lay an egg! anyone know what it is?....i can try and get a pic next time i see some in her poo again. I mostly see it in the nest box. Oh and she was wormed the day before i got her, i think it started with a F?

Budgies
One of my girls used to occasionally have a little bit of red stuff in her poo. I was never sure whether it was something she'd eaten (like worms or something horrible!) or whether a little bit of her egg laying tackle was coming away. I'm assuming she's not had access to red berries or strawberries etc!
Redwing
Sometimes they shed bits of red or pink intestinal lining in their poo which looks like tomato skin, this is normal If there is runny blood in their poo its unusual but could be Coccidiosis which would need some simple treatment but this is more common in chicks rather than adults so I wouldn't worry too much but may be worth a google
