Hello, Peeps!

 

OH took Priscilla to the vets for her second antibiotic this evening and he said she was much better. Yayyy!! She still shuts her eyes a bit, but is eating grass as I type and seems a whole lot perkier.

 

So, thank for your good vibes, thoughts and for the speedy delivery of Flubenvet (thank you to Egluntine and Jo). The support on here is great.

 

I'm absolutely wiped by the whole experience - losing Samosa, Priscilla being ill etc, trying to keep the dogs happy. I love having chickens, but being such a novice is exhausting. So thanks to you all.

 

BTW just had to "rescue" naughty Celeste who was exploring next door's newly-grown veg plot! Drrrr!

Anne she is very perky form. Obviously being a glass half-empty type of gal, I don't want to relax too much and say she's in the clear, but she seems very happy and is eating and drinking. Not laying, but as long as she's okay, I don't mind. Thanks for asking.
