Ain't Nobody Here
I can . If it's just to keep your girls where you want them, I should think it'd be fine . What are you going to use to put it up with? I used some green garden canes from B&Q which are good but not so easy to move about as the Omlet ones.
Jennyhenny
You clever people you Just want to cordon off around their eglu and run so they dont trash all of the garden Probably just hold it up by canes as you say ANH Jennyhenny
Lewis
It should be fine to keep the hens in, but not to keep other things out.
Ain't Nobody Here
If you get garden canes, a little trick I worked out was to push some garden wire into the hole at the top of the cane, leave a bit sticking out and bend it into a loop. You can then hang the top of the netting on the loop. (Otherwise the netting sags a bit too much ) You can also do something similar at the bottom to stop gaps appearing (and chickens digging their way out ). Ain't Nobody Here
Top one's easy, just shove wire down as far as you can (it'll go to the first kind of joint bit). Bottom one, push wire up inside the cane and leave enough hanging out so that you can bend it back up beside the cane and make a loop at the top. The wire outside the cane will be under the ground with the loop just showing. Hope that makes sense .
