*mummy_hen*
What posh looking girls you have! I bet they love their new chicken palace already. Be prepare to now spend hours and hours in the garden with them *she says typing on a laptop in the garden with 4 chickens at her feet*

littleleicesterfox
They seem to have settled in quite well. It was interesting trying to get them into the cube last night, espcially as one of the appenzellers escaped and went sprinting around the garden!! This morning I can see a pecking order developing but Inny, who is the larger, more dominant appenzeller isn't too good at being bossy and so Nef and little Tut get plenty of access to the water and the food. Inny got on the fayoumi's 'toddler step' under the glug and pecked them both off but then got off herself and let them both get back on and get on with it. I think that it helps that despite the appenzellers being bigger the fayoumis are braver and so it evens itself out!
Busybird
Your girlies look lovely I'd better not tell my 3 plain brown hens that there are such beautiful chooks so close especially as they have a cube to live in
littleleicesterfox
Ah well, you see, I went over just intending to look at the nice hens and then get something fairly plain and simple but, you know, well one thing led to another and all that!! I just fell in love with the appenzellers, I have to admit
